Dr. Alexandrea Baudy
Dr. Alexandrea Baudy's Bio
Dr. Alexandrea Baudy is the Co-Owner and Medical Director of South Lafourche Veterinary Clinic. She was born in Port Arthur, TX, and as a child had many pets, including dogs, hermit crabs, frogs, and crickets. She attended Prairie View A&M University and graduated cum laude with a bachelors’ degree in biology in 2007. She then attended veterinary school at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she met her husband, Dr. Christopher Baudy. She graduated second in her class and magna cum laude in 2011. She then completed a rigorous one-year rotating small animal internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa, Florida. After completion, she and her husband moved to Friendswood, TX. She worked for three years at VCA Southwest Freeway. She then moved to New Orleans with her husband and two daughters, where she worked at Banfield Pet Hospital for seven months before purchasing South Lafourche Veterinary Clinic with her husband, Dr. Chris. She enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs, baking and decorating cakes, working out, reading, and going to church.
Dr. Christopher Baudy
Dr. Christopher Baudy's Bio
Dr. Christopher Baudy is the Co-Owner and Chief of Staff of South Lafourche Veterinary Clinic. He is a native of New Orleans, LA, where he graduated from St. Augustine High School. After St. Augustine, Dr. Chris went on to Tuskegee University and attained a bachelor’s degree with honors in animal science with a minor in biology. He then went on to attend Veterinary School at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he met his wife, Dr. Alexandrea Baudy. He graduated in 2011 and went on to practice small animal medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Chris has worked as an emergency veterinarian at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group in Houston for three years and Medvet Emergency and Cancer Center for one year. He enjoys spending time with his family and three dogs, range shooting, golfing, fishing, and working out.
